1. Scope and contact
This policy describes the HANZUMIO website, including its learning resources, support and web purchase features. HANZUMIO operates this website and is the contact for requests concerning information it handles. Contact wangjiaqi78910@gmail.com with privacy questions.
The iPhone app is not yet available. Its data practices will be described here before release, based on the actual app. This website policy does not assert that the app collects no data.
2. Information used by the website
- Browsing and security. Hosting and delivery providers process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL and browser information to deliver pages and protect the service.
- Learning and preferences. Browser storage remembers choices such as language and learning progress. Some practice features also save progress on the server under a pseudonymous identifier so the feature can retrieve it. Such an identifier is not a public profile.
- Purchases and access. Where checkout is offered, we process product, amount, currency, order and transaction references, payment status and identifiers needed to deliver and restore purchased content. Manual-payment claims can include the email address and payment reference you submit. Historical payment records can include payer and transaction identifiers supplied by the former payment provider. We do not ask you to enter full payment-card details into our website.
- Referral labels. Recognised campaign labels in a link, such as its source or campaign, can be kept for the browser session and attached to a web order to understand where that order came from.
- Support. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send.
Please send only information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, full card details or recovery links in public comments.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use learning preferences and progress to provide the functions you choose; order information to verify payment, supply content and restore access; and support messages to answer you. Where the GDPR applies, processing needed to provide a requested service or fulfil an order relies on performance of a contract or steps you request before it.
Protecting the website, preventing duplicate delivery or misuse, and handling general enquiries may rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Records required by applicable accounting or other laws are processed to meet legal obligations. If a feature needs consent, it should be requested before that processing; you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
4. Service providers and external services
Cloudflare hosts the website and supports its data services. New purchases use WeChat Pay, Alipay or bank transfer, with access after owner receipt verification. Previous payment records are retained as needed for purchase recovery, refunds and recordkeeping. Google services may be used for copybook ordering or delivery and email support. Choosing a bank, WeChat or Alipay transfer also involves that payment provider. A provider receives the information needed for its role and may have its own legal responsibilities and privacy terms.
Links to Udemy, dictionaries and other external sites take you to services with their own policies. An external page is not governed by this policy. See Cloudflare privacy information and Google privacy information.
Service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable cross-border transfer requirements depend on the provider, processing location and your location. Contact us to request details about the arrangements and safeguards relevant to your information.
5. Storage, retention and security
Browser preferences can remain until you remove the website's stored data. Session storage normally ends with the browser session. Cookies support browser recognition and purchased-access sessions. Blocking or clearing storage may reset progress or require you to restore access.
Server-side progress and order information are kept for the period needed to provide the relevant learning or purchased-access service, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal requirements. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle and follow up on the request. Provider logs follow the provider's settings and retention arrangements. These records do not all have a single automatic deletion date.
We use HTTPS and access controls for protected purchase information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep purchase recovery links private because they can grant access to your content.
6. Your choices and rights
You can change language preferences, remove browser storage, and contact us to ask about data stored on the server. Where applicable law gives you these rights, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent.
Send requests to wangjiaqi78910@gmail.com. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing data. Where the GDPR applies, we respond without undue delay, generally within one month, and explain any lawful extension or reason a request cannot be fully fulfilled. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.
Deleting local data does not delete server records. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal duties or resolve a dispute; we will explain relevant limits when responding to a request.
7. Younger learners
Parents and guardians should supervise younger learners and purchases. Please contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without the required authorisation, so we can assess and address the request.
8. The upcoming iPhone app
App sign-in, progress storage, purchases, advertising and third-party SDKs are still being determined. Before the app is released, this policy will be updated to describe the implemented features, information collected, permissions, providers and deletion options. Website purchase access is not currently a promise of app access.
9. Policy updates
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
